Integrations and custom development

ERP integration services for the systems your team already uses

When an order has to be entered in the store, ERP and a spreadsheet, your team is doing the work a connection should handle. SVS Digital builds ERP and API integrations that move agreed data between business systems. We start with the records, ownership rules and exceptions your operation needs.

Which systems and data can you connect?

Ecommerce and ERP integration

Connect orders, customer details, product information and stock according to the interfaces available. Decide where each field is maintained and when changes should travel. Order intake and inventory updates need separate rules so one system does not overwrite another unexpectedly.

CRM and ERP integration

Carry the right customer or company record from a sales opportunity into an operational process. Define matching identifiers, required fields and ownership. Where data differs, a review step can prevent an uncertain match from changing the wrong account.

Custom API and file integrations

Use supported APIs where available. If a system relies on exports, assess structured files and the cadence they support. We document mapping, access and limits before development. The chosen connection should fit the system rather than depend on an unsupported assumption.

Monitoring and recovery

Record successful transfers and failed items. Set retry and duplicate-handling rules, make exceptions visible and assign an owner. If a destination stops responding, your team should know which records are waiting and what can be safely retried.

Example: a store order moves into the business system

A new order starts a transfer. The connection checks the customer identifier, product codes and required fields, then creates the agreed destination record. It records the destination reference so a retry does not create another order. An unknown product goes to a review queue. The final flow depends on your ERP and store capabilities.

How does implementation work?

  1. 01

    Choose the first data flow

Identify source and destination, volume, required speed and the manual work to remove. Map one normal record and one exception.

  2. 02

    Confirm interfaces and ownership

Review supported API or export access. Agree field mapping, credentials handling, system limits and conflict rules.

  3. 03

    Test transfers and failures

Use test records to check matching, validation, duplicate delivery, changed data and destination outages. Review the output with your team.

  4. 04

    Launch with a support plan

Introduce monitoring, exception ownership and documentation. Define how interface changes and failed transfers will be handled after launch.

MGP Tekstil connected inventory and order workflow

From our projects

MGP Tekstil: an integration built around products and orders

MGP Tekstil is an example of our supplier-to-store integration work: stock synchronisation across more than 2,000 products and automated order transfer. It demonstrates related mapping and workflow experience. It does not establish a prebuilt connector for your ERP; we assess that interface separately.

What determines scope and cost?

ERP integration cost depends on supported interfaces, data mapping, authentication, volume and recovery requirements. A one-way scheduled export differs from several event-driven flows across an ERP, CRM and store. We check feasibility before quoting and separate implementation, external service costs and maintenance. Platform-specific capabilities are confirmed during discovery.

What to bring to the first conversation

  • Names and versions of the systems to connect.
  • The first record type to transfer, such as an order or product.
  • Available API documentation or a sample export.
  • Approximate volume, timing requirements and common exceptions.

Frequently asked questions

What are ERP integration services?

They connect ERP records and processes with other business tools, such as a store, CRM or internal portal. The work includes data mapping, transfers, checks and handling failed or conflicting records.

Can you integrate with our existing ERP?

We assess the actual product, version, available interfaces and access. Supported APIs or structured exports make a connection possible in many cases, but feasibility is confirmed before development.

Can an integration work without an API?

Sometimes. A supported file export and import may cover a scheduled flow. It usually has different timing and validation limits from an API. If neither is reliable, we identify which steps can be automated and which remain manual.

Do we need two-way synchronisation?

Only if the process requires it. Each field should have clear ownership. Two-way changes add conflict rules and testing; a one-way flow can be a better first step when one system is authoritative.

What happens when an API changes or a transfer fails?

Monitoring and the agreed support process identify failures. The connection records pending items and uses defined retry rules. Interface changes may require a mapping or implementation update, which is covered by the agreed maintenance scope.
